Welcome, it is the right section kptkyle. Other than what I mentioned to you before on another site, you might read through this FAQ to get some information down. You might see if the roller already comes with some pinions (the kit does).

As far as a lipo, the Thunder Power 1320mah fits pretty good and allows you to have some free space on your battery side so you could possibly fit your receiver if its too big otherwise.

Thanks a ton for all the information I was trying to get some second opinions since no-one else responded to me on the other site. Also, where can i find that battery at, and i happened to notice that there are some cheap lipo chargers on ebay, will they work well enough. This car is going to be my Christmas present to myself, can't wait. How fast will it be with the Mamba 5400 motor and esc combo.

First and foremost, look at your local hobby shop when possible. Never trust a cheap generic lipo charger on ebay. Unless you like the higher possibility of sluggish performance and fires?

Hard to say, Im guesstimating 27ish?

OK. So i got my chasis from ebay today, in relatively good shape, came with carbon fiber battery strap, waht i believe to be a carbon fiber drive shaft, aluminum motor mounts, and ball joints.
There is only a few questions i have about it...
1) Is the drive shaft supposed to slide back and forth, because it does. Is this bad?
2) The steering linkage rubs on the frame a little bit... If i push up on the front shocks and compress them a little bit it will stop. Wierd? or dont worry about it.
3) Whoever had the car before me did not realize there is differences in threads!! the Fine threads of the aluminum balljoints are completely "messed UP", i cannot even put the last three hubs*(or whatever) on, and the one left on was really annoying to get off. I was thinking of drilling and re-tapping them to a slighty larger size thread, will this be o.k. to do, or will it make them too weak.

Per number 3. Larger threads might not fit through the pivot balls.

And what is a good pinion gear size with a 6800Kv brushless motor. and should I find a different site to buy my batteries from Since tower hobbies does not have the Ithunder ones... or find another battery since i am ordering everything else from there.

As I said before, always best to buy local as you can talk and see the item before you buy. In example, what you linked is DC only. Which means you can't plug it into a wall.

Should fit with little to no modification on the stock chassis. You might have to wittle down the retainers a little to expand them out since the TP is a mm or two wider. If all else fails, and you dont want to do any drilling, you can use velcro to hold it on.

Oh wait, I'm sorry, I thought you said 1320. No, the 2100 is too long for the stock chassis. I might barely fit the pro, but you wont be able to use a hold down bar.

The Mamba system will handle it, though I hope you got a lower turn kv since you choose a 3 cell. You have ball diffs I hope?

I got the 6800kv motor and the plastic joints at this point because the other ones are stripped out. I was thininking of retapping or filling them with epoxy and retapping. Have to figure something out, where is a good place to buy Xray parts.I dont know where i can test drive it, but i cant wait. The batteries shippings says it will take a like 10 days.

I have finished fixing my M18T Pro, I have a problem. When I press the throttle, the front wheel goes in one direction and the rear wheels go in another direction. What should I do?

Roelof already answered you in the other thread, but you have one of the differentials in backwards.

Hi everyone, I just received my M18 PRo in the mail and started building the diffs. I have one question. They seem a little rough in a couple spots when I turn them (both front and rear). I noticed some folks add grease or oil, but it looks like Xray recommends running them dry, so that's what I did. The main gear that the driveshaft attaches to is smooth when turned by itself, and the small gear that transfers power to the front and back is smooth turning as well. When I put them together there is just a couple of spots that I feel some resistance from. I have taken both apart and looked under a light, flashlight, etc... and can't find any kind of burr on the gears. Any ideas? Thanks, Mark
