Because the receiver is powered by the same battery it is obvious when the battery power drops the receiver will be unstable as well. A bad or near empty battery can cause this.

Regarding the transmitter, yes you are right. A standard RTR 27mhz AM transmitter is not the best choice to reach a large distance. AM is very sensitive for disturbing signals and 27mhz is widely used.

A better radiosystem works on FM and the latest technology is the 2.4ghz system. Take a look to the Accoms Hyabusa 2.4ghz system or if you take a look on Ebay you can find a cheap DX2 or DX3 without servo's

A useful tip

reinforced arms...they WILL hold much better...

"Bearthread" CA, and last epoxy...do not overthight when reaching the "Y" on the arm, it will cause "bind"

I just recently got a M18T and was wondering what the 7 mm spacer was for on the bottom of the steering knuckle. Can anyone help me?

It helps keep the steering knuckles from moving to far an angle and binding/locking the system.

you don't need to put those 7mm spacers on the bottom of your steering knuckles if you set your epas correctly

Does anyone have a small list of 2s lipos that will fit the m18t without chassis modification? I have 2 brand new zippy 2s 40c 2200mah packs that are a bit too big. I'd like to not have to dremel the side wall off of the new chassis if possible but am looking for the highest capacity lipo at 30c or higher that will fit. any suggestions?
