I just got the -4 motor plate and is there anything special I have to do to use it ... I have the gear box raised up ... the motor hits on the gearbox and I can’t mesh the pinion to the spur ... do I need to take out the the gearbox shim or is there something I’m missing... thanks for any suggestions...

Hi

You will need to run a larger spur gear. With the +4 and a 6,5t motor we have gone from 21/81 to 23/87. This will allow you to mesh properly.
