I notice every time a new shipment of Xray parts come in the price go up,
for the past 3 shipment's the price went up, when is it going to level off the price of the other kits parts is steady for a long time now what Xray going to do to keep the price down, just remember Serpent every body got one until the price went up, then came the Mugen and Serpent went belly up, well in the USA, i remember for say part #0000 was $3.00 when i first got my Xray the same part is going for $6.85, now that is this over 100% in price difference for the same part with the same materal so why is it so high? :?: :?: :?: :?:

I ahte to say this but I agree with you. I have 3 Xray's and the cost of spares is a concern that I never had with my TC3's.

They don't break often, but when they do..... ouch! My LHS has a XRC chassis especially ordered for my son (they sponsor him by giving discount) but even at that price it can sit on the shelf until one of our exisitng chassis gives up! (one cracked and seems to be holding up well with the liberal application of superglue!) - I mean £65 retail for a bit of carbon fibre - get real!

The RC-Lab is looking more and more attractive day by day

With those prices I would really consider buying across the pond.
They are nog even that expensive in The Netherlands. (Not really a cheap place to buy stuff either)

Wishbones are about 5 euro, £4.99 (=7,50 eur) is ridiculous

I am absolutely not aware about something like that. Please provide any exact example including information where are you from, what product you buy, where and how much you paid before and now.

Where are you guys buying from? I've paid the same price for parts now that I did when I first bought my kit.

I bought an XRC chassis when it fist came out and paid $65.00 for it. Why is that unreasonable? There is alot of delicate machining that goes into it's design. I also run 1/12 scale and Associated charges $45.00 for a plain old flat chassis and then you still need the rear pod.

I haven't found Xray prices being out of line anywhere - carbon or plastic parts. On top of that, they never break! I live in the Midwest/USA so maybe we're shielded from this stuff.

You've got to remember that if your getting the chassis for $65 (which is the cheapest i've seen it) in the US then over the pond in the UK we have to pay £65 which is the equivalent of $115! Do you see the problem now

Thank you Mario for your reply, but if you check Ashford and Stormer hobbies you will see the price difference for the past 3 shipment that it went up every time there is a new shipment, you don't buy from these LHS so you can not tell the difference with the price, but people like myself will notice the difference in price change with every shipment, i don't think you can do anything about the price in the US, but you should check the LHS price each time you send a new shipment that will give you an idea of what's going on.

The last shipment was some time ago already, therefore I am not sure what time frame you refer to. Maybe the shortage of parts due the new distribution arrangements resulted into increased prices. Since the supply will again cover the demand, I expect no problems and no reasons for sudden price increases. If there will be any particular problems, make sure to email to Xray where it will be considered and analysed.
