For sure there wont be any new car available before next year march-april.

If you need a new car NOW just buy the FK-05

Cap locks means YOUR SHOUTING!

they did it because belive it or not it works, why do you want your batteries like that?

how about buying the T1 Racer you can have a new one and it has the batteries as you wish

Personally i think that the straight pack layout is easier to put batteries into the car. Side by side is more time consuming, it may give out better weight distribution, but when you think about it, it has equal balancing as with a straight battery config, you have the battery on one side, then to balance it out you have the speedo, radio gear, and motor. You can however buy balancing weights that simply screw on to the chassis. This is just advice if you are choosing because of the way the chassis' are balanced out. (they both work just as well).

Yes it is easyer to put the batterys in but I like the way the cars handle with a saddle pack. Many guy at my track have bought the FK05 and said it didn't seem to be as balanced as the FK04 and are sorry that they've sold there older cars. I know you can balance the car with weights but the FK04 seems to be more balanced. I think it also has something to do with the way the motor is placed. I'm not saying that FK05 is a bad car just some prefer the way the FK04 handles.

I don't know....just about everyone I've talked to and run with (including myself) prefer the feel of the FK05

I'm VERY happy with the handling of my car. After building it and putting it on our tight, technical carpet track my first impressions were that it felt like a 1/12 car.

You guys are hung up on Balance, but the car CAN be and easily IS balanced with *small* weights (The balance is very close to perfect as-is)...the FK05 was designed to have a lower polar moment of inertia which allows the car to pivot about all axes better than the previous design as the mass is more centralized in the FK05 (both left-to-right AND front-to-rear) while still maintaining a low CG...

mine balances perfet just by moving the reciever and speedo a few mm.
think you guys are actually trying to find a reason why you have not got an 05 :P
if it was that bad why does it win races and why do most of the manufactures do it?
maybee you should try the car before you comment
