hello i am very new to R/C. obviously i have had one before but as a little child. but no that i am much older i am thinking of building or buying a R/C. i am not sure what type of car to build. either a nitro or an electric. Would anyone recommend a nitro to a beginner :?:
i never really thought R/C to be so fun.

If you can handle the speeds and control of a nitro, you can try a slow nitro first, they can vary between 30mph, to 90mph. i would suggest a nitro from HPI (no offence xray), as HPI build alot of varyations of nitro kis and rtr's. you will also need to know the right conditions for nitro engines, how to start them, and what you need to start them, and how to maintain them. Electrics are quick aswell, but as you are a beginner, i would suggest the XRAY T1R, but you will need to buy a motor, cells, a charger, an esc (electronic speed control), AND A 2 channel radio system.

For the ideal nitro for you, heres a link: http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/kit-info.php ... 62&lang=en

Its a stadium truck for all levels of experience, and doesnt cost a bomb (around £180 ready to run). because its a stadium truck, you can take it on and off road, so whatever your into, this will be an ideal beginner. hope this helps
