Xray you are quickly giving me a reason to never have to buy any other brand or manufacturs products ever again. 1st you took me with the 10th scale cars and I am hooked I got rid of all others. 2nd you come out with a 1/18th scale car that is just amazing!! I had to sell my highly modified Hpi micro. then 3rd I look into maybe a 1/8 scale buggy and there came the 8th scale of my dreams. then I daydream about a mini t and all the possabilities and again there you are. if you by any chance think of getting into the micro elec. helies please hint or wink or something, because you would save me a lot of time from getting a hummingbird. :D

Thanks for all the excitement.

Oh yeah and please give ous some more info on this truck it looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :?:

Guys, I am sure Mario will provide more details when they become available. But you'll have to wait a while. The announcement on the XRay website is a pre-announcement of a new product that will become available in the next few months. It is not a statement that it is in production already!

Besides, Mario is currently in the US attending the Chicago Hobby Show and will not be able to answer any questions right now.

Does anyone have a link to view this 1/18th scale Mini truck? I have looked on Xray's website but I don't see it anywhere. If anyone could get a link and post it here,I would appreciate it.

The 1/18 truck is likely being produced because it didn't require a lot of extensive (and expensive) design and tooling...

Many of the components are (in all likelihood) going to be shared with the M18.

To produce a 1/10 GP car or truck would require massive investments in design, tooling and manufacturing.

The M18T will provide a product in a rapidly expanding segment of the market and arrive at the right time to compete with the other new offerings on the market.

That being said...keep an eye out for what products are announced following the release of the M18T...you may just get the car or truck you've been dreaming of 8)
