Guys,

I`m new here and need some advice.

Got a NT18 with electric pack, and now I am having a headache using the Futaba 3PK 75 Mhz with R203HF receiver.

Should I change the stock servos to digital ones and what brand should I choose?

Or

Change the receiver and what brand should I choose?

I would prefer to change the servos cause I can use them in the Kyosho Mini Inferno.

Please advise.

Thanks

You do have the HRS receiver and in HRS mode the servo's will not work, for that you do need digital servo's.

Not sure if you can use the receiver in normal PPM mode, just give it a try or else get a cheap receiver.

I destroyed 2 servos, because I used HRS instead of PPM. Hitec HS 82MG and Xray servos will NOT run on HRS or they will get destroyed (my mistake).
Use Futaba FS 70 (I thinck), you can run HRS with it.

found a servo almost same size as the NT-18 stock servos.

Futaba S3155 Digital HS Slim Servo

Any comments?

I use the Hitec 5084 servo's, very fast and also smooth in control.
The Multiplex Digi Polo are a tiny bit cheaper.

2 servo's will cost you 100 euro while a Robbe RX-400 receiver (PPM) will cost you 40 euro.

thanks for your info.

Are the Hitec 5084 digital servos?

Did a serach on the Robbe RX-400 receiver. Is not avalible in ebay, but found in some web and they are selling 55 euro include shipping. Still have any receivers can be use?

The Multiplex Digi Polo looks good, but only one seller in ebay. Dun noe whether they ship outside US, need to ask them.

Outside are there any more inputs?

The Hitec is digital as you could read on the HitecRC website.

As receiver, any 2 or 3 channel Robbe or Futaba is a direct fit.

What would you like to know more?

1) no, HRS will not work with standard servo's, you do need digital servo's

2) we mentioned some digital models

3) otherwise go to a Futaba/Robbe PPM receiver
