What spares would people suggest for this car?
I know it's pretty rugged in general, But I wouldn't want to go home from a race because of my crappy driving into a barrier etc..

I saw a box of spares at MB Models for the NT1, I believe it used to be yours Mark or you supplied it?

I'll stock up on Wishbones and Belts, that was my first port of call.

I was at Halifax this month, first time out with a Nitro Car, Wheel (instead of sticks) and on Asphalt. The car took some serious abuse, must of put it into the fence a few times and I flipped it at least 4 or 5 times..

Just some fine cracks in the body shell around the wheel arches.. Car was untouched.

This car is strong. However, you may want to get some spare drivetrain parts such as belts, pulleys, driveshafts and axles. As for the arms, one arm and steering block/rear hub carrier won't hurt to have as a spare. You will have to replace bearings and clutch shoes as well....

I bought 2 cars / kits . Build one kit and kept the second for spares. When i lose a screw or somthing smal the reserve kit has it. Then you have time to order that part. Also the spurs to tune the car. And belts several. A belt will last you 2 race weekends at most. Xray hardly break something, so the plastics only get soft. So each year replace the plastics.

We also know other people in the UK who have a surplus of NT 1 spares should you require anything Mr Healey. We can put you in contact with the right people :D Jon Withy.
