Introducing the NT1 and RX8 in late March, Xray lose pilots and customers around the world.
In other regions of the world have started competitions in February. Thus pilots choose other brands.
Think with me:
Launch is at the end of March.
Cars available in other countries only in late April ...

in April some competitions are already in the 3rd round ...
Does Xray ever thought in this situation?

in my country xray drivers have already switched to Mugen, this year will see very few Xray drivers in the national championship, one or two at most,is no joke, is to start thinking seriously.

This past Saturday xray nt1 2013 first birthday, continued without of news, the announcement of "nt1 coming soon" they had in front of facebook to been withdrawn,we started thinking that xray have a problem, because the information is zero and there are already too late.

Will a new car car (an evolution on the 2013 model) make a difference in your results?
I believe more than 95% of the drivers can not get the full potential out of any car so why the need for a new car which is in the base probably the same old design?

A nice example in the 1/8 is Alberto Picco. He is running an outdated Mugen MRX4X and still going strong.

now is not about if the car is fast or not, now is the lack of information on the new car, going very late, but the rx8 is even worse, all xray drivers of my country have gone to other brands, by lack of information and delays,While there are only one or two cars in the national championship, whereas before it was 80%.result suggests that there is a problem.

Simple, the category 1/10 was altered with respect to the minimum weight.
In 2011 the minimum weight was 1725g with Transponder.
Since last year the minimum weight is 1650g.

For Xray NT1 keep 1725g were already need to replace original parts with lighter parts and use battery life or lipo.

Now imagine investing to get 1650g! Lipo battery, titanium screws, titanium pivot balls, titanium links, titanium center shaft, titanium front shaft...
Do you think it is worth investing in all these parts and still having a car of 2011/2012?
There is more advantage to buy a new car that already meets the new weight of 1650g.

I understand your opinion guys, you need to go into the race from now onwards. I think XRAY will have a strong 1/8 on road car gas straighforward.

I don't mind if XRAY will go out with a new RX8 2014 at the end of March, April or whatsover date. I pleased to await for the new kit, I trust in their product even if I never used one of their chassis. Last time I raced with my beloved 1/8 onroad car gas was 2005 (Evolva 2003) since then I played with 1/10 off road electric car, quite funny but in Italy we have few tracks and also quite poor so I think to move to my beloved 1/8 on road car gas with XRAY. I am on budget, but let's see if I can do something if not possible I will enjoy and watch the new kit on my laptop only.

I look forward to hearing new from Mr. Juraj or Martin Hudy.

Respect!

Regards,
Marco.

Some very nice details of what is new you can read in this article: http://www.redrc.net/2014/04/exclusive-making-the-rx8/

Unfortunately the work on the all-new instruction manuals for both RX8 and NT1 took a lot of time of the design department and the full detailed promotion is in a delay. However the good news is that RX8 starts shipping already (official announcment to be published asap) and the NT1 very soon.

Sorry again for the delays however the major changes made at the end took much longer than originally planned for both NT1 & RX8. We will make all appropriate internal arrangements and changes to ensure this will not happen again. Thank you for your patience and support.

yes, but as you can understand we can not keep customers only with a "coming soon" for months and months knowing that there are very competitive cars on the market today, the only notician there's nt1 is "coming soon" and no longer have time to wait, this weekend proves two marks and taketh a decision.
need specific dates, because the pilots are leaving.
beginning to hear that we will not have new car this year, is reasonable, taking months only "coming soon".

Mario, in the photos, there is the FX engine.

When are the FX on road engines due to be released? Will there be a .12?

Tuesday, April 8th, still no news of the new nt1, now in my country we have already abandoned this brand.
rumors that this year there will be no new car take much force.

Horchata - of course there will be a new NT1 as already mentioned. Today should be posted a short update on the availability so before I say anything please wait for the official announcement.

is the rumor that runs my country, of course I hope the rumor is not true, but the lack of information it produces.

You want credibility?, give specific dates, leave the "coming soon" that nobody believes

extracted from a forum post:

xray so amazing this year, which delayed the departure of new nt1l, all these championships have begun and nothing, so I have to wait but it is unacceptable or some pictures or info or anything ...

people are going elsewhere.
