In the first images shown on RCTech it can be seen that the car is a 3 belt design with oil filled diffs. The car appears to be similar to the current cars out there.

Yes I know....
But look how the airfilter is placed, on the pic determed by angle and how it is placed in front of the coolinghead it seems the motor is placed as in a shaft driven car.

Dudes, the engine is fitted sideways, rear exhaust and standard racing pipe like Serpent etc. So that will clearly mean that it will be three belt drive system like Serpent and all other pro cars.

Just a short update - the long term testing of the production car finished with excellent results. The NT1 was tested at the factory test track by several top drivers from Europe and USA with very good results. More info coming soon.

Mario

Are we likely to see any specs or images of this car within the next 2 weeks? Time is running out to sort out my new chassis for the coming season!

Wow, the car looks great!
Only a few questions:
  • What is the internal drive ratio?
  • What is the final drive ratio? I always found the kyosho one too aggressive.
  • There are pins at the bottom part of the engine mount. What are these for?
  • Why not a elastic body holder for the rear like the one from the 720? Or did you use something special to prevent breaking?

Little Addition: Is a Lipo-batterypack needed to lower the tank?

Hi Mario,

When we will se a XRAY 1/8 scale on-road.
I raced 1/8 scale for 3 years but now I only race XRAY kits and I want to race in 1/8 scale again.
Please, ask your father to create a 8th scale on-road kit.
We all be very glad.
