Electronic stability control is a safety feature that detects and prevents (or recovers from) skids. ESC can help keep the driver from losing control of the car in a panic swerve or when driving on slippery roads.it use sensors in the car.

I would highly recommend buying a tekin RS, all you need is a voltage booster (tq voltage booster works well) to be able to use it for 1 cell racing.

I've run the combo for about 2-3 months, and am very pleased with the consistency as well as the adjust-ability!

hope this helps,

Steve

Hi there are lots choose from, I would choose one that has a 1S capability but will also work with 2s in case you choose another class to race later,
Tekin RS has 1s in the hotwire program, also
LRP SXX has built in 1s facility,
Hobbywing are great ESC but the 1s ESC only capable of 1s use,
Hope this of some help,

That is incorrect. The HobbyWing 1S is capable of running 2S as well as blinky, boosted and mod.

With 1S Lipo or 3-4 cells NiMH, 1/12 on-road >=2.5T
With 2S Lipo or 5-6 cells NiMH, 1/10 on-road >=3.5T, 1/10 off-road >=5.5T

I use it in my 1/12 and WGT cars and it is a great esc at a very good price. It is much smoother than a Tekin (which I ran previously) and seems to be more reliable than an LRP (BEC issues with the StockSpec).

I've experience of SP GT 2.1EX and Orion Vortex R10 Pro 1-2S.
SP is big and heavy and Orion much lighter and smaller.

Software is about the same, and the feeling.

My pick is Orion.

I saw many LRP ESC's with BEC faults this season...
