I think that top driver always use alu shocks.

What are the advantages for the alu shocks?

In any case, can you tell me the reference for the alu shocks? because on xray web is the alu of the xray t2, but for t3?

Thank you, regards.

XR308306-O

I found that when the plastic shocks get a bit dirty etc, the spring adjustment collars tend to stick or jam up easily.
Small pieces of debris tend to dmamge the collar threads on the shock body.

If your not having problems with the plastic shocks and everything is working, there is probably no need.
IF you have the money and need to replace parts etc then when you come to replace them get the alu versions.

My shocks were over two years old so I needed to replace parts on them anyway.

When buying the alu shocks you also get all the composite parts and there composite shock bodies are included, too. :-)

More precise damping action as a result of the different material used. More durable. Looks better too!
