Hi,
I raced in the uk today at Hinckleys indoor venue,I think I'm right in saying it's the prima felt carpet,I'm just wondering if when you run indoors you still shim the topdeck on the 16 and if the Ali chassis is a must?
also do you run the steering brace and post indoors?

Hi Mark,

I'm not familiar with that carpet but I have heard that most carpet in the UK and throughout Europe is not as high bite as in the US. If that is true, I think you could get away with the carbon chassis and the standard topdeck. I would try raising the TD 1mm to see if you like it, usually it will make the car react smoother to initial input but it will make more overall traction. If you try an aluminum chassis, you may find that you prefer the raised TD. Are there others there running aluminum chassis'?

I do not run the steering brace or post on carpet but I would imagine that would make the car more responsive to initial input, but generate less grip through the corner.
