Hi all.

I'm sure I will get the usual comments of have you meshed it properly.

It was my first night using it after a bd7 for 7 months. I never stripped 1 spur on to the bd7. I did find that to get my motor to fit I had to turn it as the back of the motor was hitting the top of the motor mount.

Any suggestions

Cheers

Scott

Do you mean the mesh was not as tight as you wanted?

It may have been the case or too tight. I have had a look over the car and can't see anything particular that would make it do that.

Motor was solid. I did find all hexs had moved making the bearings tight. This probably didn't help matters.

You need to mount the motor so you have just the right amount of play in the mesh.

If it's difficult to achieve it you'll need to change the size of spur and pinion.
