Hi guys,

I changed this today for smaller. But I have now smal space between pinion and spur wheel. The motor rests on the top plate.
What should I do now? Cut a top plate?

thanks for your helps and ideas

You need to fit a bigger pinion and spur to get the same gearing.

What pinion and spur were you trying to fit, what gear ratio do you want?

I had 31 pinion and 114 spur. And I tried now 35 pinion and 100 spur.
I want try somethink for more speed.
Exist some solution for this? Except buying a new pinion or spur?
I want try 35/100. And to the future another combination.
Thanks

31/114 gives 6.99 FDR

35/100 gives 5.43 FDR

What motor and what size track are you running on? because those two gear ratio's are completely different.

I wouldn't put shims in as that will effect the handling.
