Hey guys finished my T4 19 tonight not including the body. How are you or what method do you use to get gear mesh proper with the stock spur. I set mine up with a small amount of play but it sounds terrible (Turning by Hand). Any input would be great. Looked at the forum search but did not see what I was looking for.

That probably sounds about right.
Check that the mesh remains the same through the entire rotation of the spur gear, the last one I had the spur was 'out of round'.

One way that works (though is better with 64dp) is to fit a pinion one tooth larger than you actually want and make the pinion and spur push up against each other, don't ram them together, just push gently push them together.
Now tighten the motor, then swap the pinion down to the size you actually wanted.
