Will lipo fit directly or we need the lipo upgrade kit which lift upped deck or something similar

Looks like the top deck is already a few mm higher.

looks like a lot of my T2 008 spares might still be useful if i decide to go for the T3, although i was secretly hoping for something more like the Team Magic E4 or even the Xray NT1 with everything set down the center line. Maybe that doesn't work as well, i dunno.

Any chance someone can answer a few questions? As I have to sell a car to buy a car, I would like to know if the battery strap, multi diff and ECS drive shafts from the 009 will fit into the T3.

Without having any inside info I can't think of a reason not all the items you mention wont fit to T3.

These are the items I have seen on the car that are the same as the 009,

diffs
sway bars
shocks
arms (small change to the rear sway bar mount)
drive shafts and axles, ecs will work
plastic suspension mounts
steering bell crank

The total changes are the

chassis
bulkheads
shock towers
suspension mounts

The car is a little easier to work on the arm mounts. The car is a refinement on keeping tweak down by trying to make the bulk head mounting with symmetrical flex
