Yes, you can use #305104 multi diff on T3 car however only when you have 5-CELL or 6-CELL BATTERY PACK ALTERNATIVE (not Lipo alternative), check instruction manual on page 12.

Hi
Marit, can you comment about the set-up for the WC in Burgdorf?
I want to understand what you wanted and that you have received such changes in the settings compared with a baseline set-up to T3.
You used a standard T3 or it was a prototype?
I beg more detail:))
Thank you.

Hi
Is it possible to take out the one way bearings in multi-diff and switch it and then use it in T3 lipo?

Kind regards, Svanur

Don't know does this work, do it at your own risk.

Remove pulley etc other parts before doing this.

Use a hot air blower (like this http://www.ironsec.fi/webmarket/images/MT01605%20[600,6].jpg) and heat the oneway housing. Because it is made of aluminium and bearings are made of something else (=steel?), the aluminium piece expands more and you should be able to take out the bearing.
Don't add too much heat to the bearing (nor straight to it) because excessive heat can destroy it.

You need some kind of heat resistant glue or maybe some thread locker to lock the bearing back to the oneway housing.

I haven't done this myself to a Multi-Diff, but I think that every oneway is built about the same way.

Hi Guys,

I've seen (and herd) of a few people running Gear rear diffs in their T3's.

What is XRAY's thoughts on this? What are the supposed advantage of a gear diff?

Anyone?

They appear to be more even and consistant during use.

We have found them to provide better traction out of corners.

The trick is finding out which oils are best for the track you are on.

hey guys,

it is clear the gear diff need no more servicing.
but the fastest xray cars on the euro use normal diff gear.
and the advantage of ball diff is that it is much lighter than gear diff and easy to adjust.
but in modified i don't think that weight is such important :-)

Yes, you can use alu c-hubs with ECS driveshafts however be sure that you have the new V2 alu c-hubs as the old ones will not fit.

Yes, part number is same. On the label must be written ALU C-HUB FRONT BLOCK, RIGHT - 4° DEG. - V2, XRAY offers only 4° DEG and 6° DEG alu c-hubs in V2 version, part numbers are #302337, #302338, #302339 and #302340.

Will the T3 2011 have the holes for the optional alu brace that fits on the old T3 just behind the front bulkheads?

I found this useful on some carpet setups.

No, new XRAY T3 2011 will not fit the #302054 optional alu chassis brace.
