XRAY - Model racing cars

Is There any word of a new 1/10 T3 or ? being released over the winter? I've been racing Xrays for about 6 years now and was hoping they were working on a new ride.

Nothing has been announced at all yet.

What about the "New Legend" T4? Lots of people have been buzzing about it on other R/C forums.

You are right. The question was asked 2 weeks before the 'New Legend' T4 banner appeared on Xray's home page. So what I really want to know is if it's possible to upgrade my T3 2012 to a T4. Will there be some sort of upgrade kit? Or are there too many fundamental changes between a T3 2012 and a T4 that an upgrade kit is not reasonable?

We don't know yet, but as the model number has changed significantly I would assume that there will be too many changes to be worth upgrading.

It was the same problem trying to upgrade from T3'11 to T3'12

After you will see the details of what is new at T4 > see www.teamxray.com/T4 you will understand and agree that it is impossible for upgrade since only few parts as some suspension parts and drive train are carried over from T3 platform, everything else is all new.

Car looks great, I have only one wish, on future make everyting gold anodized, you know way,it looks better and it is better to see what you ar doing in stead of the black parts.
Because a lot of races and training is done at night or evening that's the fun with electric cars.
But it is still a great looking Xray product and the same quality for shore.
