It's killing me looking at all these truggies and being tempted to get one, but I have a looming feeling that XRAY is gonna pop out with one soon. C'mon Mario, the demand is there. A class has been officially named for it and this post must be the millionth request for a truggy from you guys. All of us can agree that we've been spoiled to the XRAY quality and build and want nothing else but that. Screw the e-clips and weak plastics that curse most of these truggies out there! We badly need an "ST8"

I will have to agree with Richmond here. My friend has been buggin me to get a truggy forever now and I am starting to get the itch as well but I have gotten so spoiled with my XB8 that I really don't want to buy anything else and I don't like conversions. So come on guys!! :D :D

I agree with you. Let me just point out that the team Helotes Arena truck is very capable. I've been running the truck for about 3 months now with not 1 single issue or breakage. I've been taking allot of time in finding the correct set up to suit the Southern California tracks I run on. KZ, The Dirt, Hot Rod Hobbies. It's very challenging because the UMT class is extremely popular and fast down here on the West Coast. Sportsman and Pro Truggy classes are now being offered @ my home tracks. The separation of the class was executed to perfection @ this year's US GAS Championships@ KZ speedway. It gave sportsman level UMT drivers an actual chance to win against drivers with equal skill level. Running against Chad Bradley and Ryan Caveleri decreases odds maybe :D ???

The quality and performance of the team helotes truck is a continuation of our Xb8. I'm very happy with mine. It's difficult because set ups are so scarce however it only makes you that much better in setting up the car. The Xray manual has helped me tremendously. My truck is running really good right now. I recently placed 3rd place in the sportsman A main truggy class @ round 1 of a new series "The West Coast Shootout" in SoCal. My competition was a sea of CRT's and LSP's. After my main, many compliments from those that attended saying "What truck is that"????? Felt good. Just thought I would share.

Ha . . just the guy I needed to get a response from! Dude, "before too long" just feels like a lifetime especially when I see other truggies out there on the track and I'm left wondering just how awesome an XRAY truggy would be. It's so tempting to jump to the "K"-truck but just the notion of "what if . . " stops me dead on my tracks. From how you replied, it looks like I'll just have to hold on to my debit card a little while longer.

i also was going to get another xb8 and do the conversion but want to wait til xray comes out with there own. the way this vehicle feels is far superior to any other vehicle that i have driven. then with my driving style (upsidedown, flipping end over end) just shows the durability of the xb8. please come out with this truck quickly as i would love to run this class also.

I've been helping my neighbor build an ST-R and he curses at it each time he puts it together. We both have the XB8 so he knows how the quality and build goes. I know I made the right choice by waiting. I know these posts won't go unread. If we think about it, all the new products have left the factory and are hitting the shelf. So what does that mean? Alot of time in Mr. Hudy's hands to design and create

Xray is continuously working on developing new products and testing improvements on existing platforms.

Personally, I'm curious as well to see what the design team has in store for us... 8)

I have to admit its been hard to resist the temptation to get a truggy and I'm holding out on Xray bringing on out but I fear I may buckle and in desperation get a different brand one
Even if Xray say the are making one, that will be all I need to hold of and wait for theirs, even if its a couple of months away.

hold on to that thought just a lil bit more . . Like I said before, Mr. Hudy just pushed out the NT18T off the factory and are hitting the store shelves. That means he's had lots of time to listen and read our posts. Plus you have to put in account that it's not just him doing the designing and tests. XRAY's on point with this truggy post in my opinion. I'm in the same scenario as well but Kyosho's not gonna cut it for me :D
