What does everyone think? First thoughts...how does the battery go in & out? Will it slip past the servo or is it a matter of taking off the top deck? Speaking of the servo, looks like a low profile one is needed.

I think you need to take up the Top Deck to change the Lipo! And a low profile servo is needed! My Link X10 is ordered!!
i´m sure that this is a very good car!

It looks like there should be enough space between the battery and servo to allow for the mounting of a regular servo...I could be wrong though...

I'm sure that the requirements will be confirmed in the full flash presentation in the coming days or weeks once the staff returns from the Fair and can get it prepared for the site.

The low profile will help with the weight. I do see the space your are talking about Chris. The info we have now says mid-sized & regular servos. So maybe they will fit. Pics can be deceiving.

Car looks sweet. I'm very glad they went with a 2 cell lipo design :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

The car looks ace I wonder how a 1s lipo would be retained?

I guess you can use two 1S half-size (hump-pack) LiPos and wire them parallel.

It looks like there are allowances to mount the battery retainers in several locations to help with weight distribution when using 1S Lipo or 4NiMH

Tape and the plastic corner, just like the 2 cell.

IT has been announced, with an indication that it will be shipping within the coming weeks...

Please note that they will have the car to market as soon as they can. Each day that it is not on the shelves is another day of potentially lost revenues.

It'll be on the shelf as soon as they can get it there....

Sorry to make you post such a formal response

The lack of enthusiasm this car has gotten from the start is disappointing to say the least. Look at the response the T3 received or even the 808E. Oh well, hopefully there will be more in our area then the T-bar X10. Well, there should be.

Actually the longer it takes to come out the more time I have to get the funds together :x

I tested the car on the carpet track in Xray factory and some team drivers at their tracks but no major race yet.

Any idea when the manuals will be posted ?

Anyone know of any clubs in the UK that race GT10's as it seems pretty quiet over here ?
