I am about to get a buggy and i really like the xb8, but people seem to have problems with it. I live in the U.S. and are jumps are kinda big and was wondering if this buggy would be durable to take them jumps. Also are the diffs as good as the kyosho or hyper 7.
Im picking between the mp777, mugen prospec, hyper pcr pro, or the new xb8. what do u think. Does the xb8 have the suspension with the most adjustment? thanks

well on an xray forum of course you're gonna get XB8, XB8, XB8. and i will agree with that but if you want a buggy immidetly the XB8 isnt gonna work. the first shipment isnt coming for 2-4 weeks and if you havent ordered one yet you may not even be able to get a buggy from the first shipment. if you could get either the 777, X5, H7 or XB8 now like on ebay, then get the XB8. kyosho parts are very expensive and the XB8's suspension is gonna be the next big thing in 1/8 buggies IMO.

also in any case on the new cars i must say all the buggies now days are well bulit!! in fact one will spend more time looking for a bad car than picking up any one of the Mugen's Kyosho's and the Ofna 9.5
the Hyper's are good cars as well hard car to beat on a smooth sweeper type track...
but for the Amreican tracks Mugen and Kyosho cars along with the XB8's will be the dominating cars...
so if anyone is thinking of an Xray is a excellent car to consider...
for the price it is hard to beat ....the setups, though rough at first cause it is a "Primary Europen" car but has all the setting capabillities of the Kyosho's and set up on the "Fly" abillities of the Mugen with the reliabllity of both...
durring our testing we drove all of ours pretty hard and took a number of hits!! as far as breaking a engine head on one snapping a manifold on another and one getting a radio hit and hitting a fence! with noting more than a bad gouge on the front arm but still in excelent shape! and a ripped front bumper.....(3 different cars)
and another added plus so far with about almost a gallon through some(others around 2 1/2 Gal.) of the buggies there seems to be "Very Little" wear.....less than what is evedent on the new 777 we bought just 3 days after getting the Xray's...as the Xrays have less wear than our 3 Kyosho 777....not to say the Kyosho's are any less just wear slightly faster...
Mugens about the same as Kyosho's.......
hope some of this will help.
