How would a 1 piece engine mount work? Arent some motors a little wider/narrower than others?

Probably just like the Mugen Prospec's one. It's so quick and easy for me to swap engines on my prospec.

What's taking so long for this one piece engine mount Mario,.. don't let King Headz beat you to the punch. :D

1 stronger turnbuckles

Actualy i would sugest a longer upper arm. Such as the one on the 777. Wich would not place as much load on the stock turnbuckle. IE the ball joint would have less leaverage to bend or snap the turnbuckle.

venom...

with the short upper arm setup, there really isn't much (if any) turnbuckle showing on the front. just about the only thing that is showing is the adjustment "nut" in the middle. when the one on my car snapped it broke clean right next to the "nut" in the middle. seems to me that the one that snapped may have been hardened a little much, maybe a hotspot in the oven during hardening. my car was fairly new when it happened, the landing wasn't too severe, just sort of hit more on the right front than would be ideal, and the car didn't flip over, just the right front tire went limp noodle on me :)

i love the car. it has been a pleasure to build and set-up. i am very happy with the setup now and am looking forward to The Dirt Nitro Challenge!

threaded shock bodys
no way dude, they are strictly ON-road :!:

the threaded bodys will get dinged up by stones & the threads will be too stiff to turn, plus its MUCH quicker for your pit guy to just slip in or out a spacer collar to adjust preload during a fuel stop!
eg add some preload because mud is sticking to the buggy making it too heavy. that kinda thing

Hi Mario

A bundle price racer pack would be nice, like all the composite parts that can break in one pack at a good price.

Would be nice to have in the box at races if something breaks during races :D

Just curious if Xray will make or would consider making new C-Hubs for the XB8 to allow for more droop ... I suppose this may (it may not of course) also mean new A-arms as I have found that you need to also cut into the arm to allow for full lock L & R (on my car the C-Hub arm touches on full lock and raises the arm a little which was or could put more strain on the servo).

Anyway if possible I would appreciate it if someone in the "know" could respond.. Cheers!

More droop would definitely me nice. I'm not comfortable enough to start cutting into my parts like what's been suggested elsewhere.

Definately a simple task if you are really unsure maybe you could hook up with someone who has done it and ask him/her to do it for you?

My only beef!

Don't include a clutch at all. True 1/8 racers change them out anyway. This would drop the price 10 bucks too.

Should have included the front one-piece brace in the kit, but not really a big deal.

Make a carrying bag for your product. Black with stylish X-Ray logos on both sides. Space for car, transmitter and maybe 2 part-boxes. Also fuel-bottle holder would be nice! It makes no sense to carry my precious in some cheap Hyper7 bag... Ofcourse the X-Ray bag shouldn't be too expensive. Around 60$ would be nice!

Yes indeed a full race case with three boxes inside to hpold the Xray in one, radio case in the second and tires in the third. I always carry my fuel seperately anyways.
Another part I would like to see is a center chassis stiffener or longer engine mounts in one piece.

and somthing to stiffen the center of the chassis.

those are my votes, otherwise props to the car for being almost perfect.
