Dear sir

What is the best clutch setting 0.6 or 0.7 mm.I have a Novarossi engine and want to know what is the best clutch setting to make the clutch more agressive.

.7 will hit harder but you will need to keep an eye on how far you have the clutch nut set. To much and you will smoke a shoe. I use an Orion spring and the nut is at .9.

What do you mean about the distance of the clutch nut or is that the endplay.

The distance of the nut is how far it is screwed on the flywheel nut (how much thread is visable)

If you have a fresh shoe it is wise to start with 0.6. The shoe will fit itsef comming up to 0.7 and will slowly go to 0.8

Yeah, the .9 setting is the measurement from the crank threads to the top of the nut. Your "end play" is your setting of movement of the bell after you have set your clutch gap. If you look in the instructions on the clutch page, it has a step by step walk through on setting both gap and play. Let us know if you have any problems. Yes, .6 is a safe place to start on gap....not end play. L
OL. .2 to .3 is safe for end play.

0.6 should be enough to have plenty of botom power with the clutch. Additionally you can mount the flyweights in the opposite direction. That will make the clutch engage much more aggresively.
