Ok so I am on the final assembly of my NT18T, the Picco sitting nicely in place. took my time doing things right, thinking I'll be outside tomorrow breaking this setup in...then as I was finishing the throttle linkage install I notice that the throttle on the Picco cannot fully open the carb because it hits into the compostite top deck ?!?!? WTF happened? From what I see unless I dremel out the composite top deck, or modify the throttle rod on the carb Im screwed and its back to the Toki.
Also the eyelet on the end of the throttle rod fits real sloppy on the ball for the throttle which doesnt seem to cool either

So can someone tell me how they got thier Picco carb to open all the way? And what about the sloppy throttle rod connection?? Did I miss something here??

The carb throw on the Toki is less than the Picco.I removed a bit of material on the top center deck and rotated the carb CCW a bit to clear the deck.As for the sloppy fit of the linkage I did have that problem and I had a smaller rod end in my extra parts.

Ok rotating the carb ccw makes sense and removing some material too..I can always build up the remaing piece with epoxy and baloon stuff.
The throttle end is gonna be a challenge since I dont have a smaller tighter one..and we're talking only slightly smaller too. I'm gonna look on Ofna's site see what they have.
Phat..you can reach full throttle though by doing that? And thanks..I'm looking forward to running this nitro soon!
UPDATE
Ok! rotating the carb about 10-15deg ccw worked out and it looks like I won't have to remove and material from the upper deck..Thanks Phat!!

I ordered a different throttle linkage which may ( or may not) fit tighter onto the carb fitting..when I get it and try it Ill post again. Looks like Ill be runnning today afterall!
