Many people know the classical story of David and Goliath. This classical confrontation will soon be reborn with different players on the stage; the brand new XRAY NT1 playing the role of David will come face-to-face with Goliath... a full-size Ferrari sports car! Ferrari and XRAY are the most admired brands in their fields... both are leading edge manufacturers producing engineering marvels of premium precision, hand-crafted quality... undeniably innovative leaders with passion and heritage. It was an obvious choice to have a Ferrari enter the same type of stable in the realm of model cars - where XRAY reigns supreme.

European TV - the Austrian ORF - has prepared a special duel... an all-out speed contest between a full-sized Ferrari and the brand new XRAY NT1. Both high-tech, powerful cars will compete at a 100m speed track to see if David will once again triumph over Goliath. History may again be in the making... who will win?

This ultimate showdown will take place on Saturday, May 5th, 2007 at 7:20PM (Central European time) at the ORF. Or come visit the XRAY Web site at www.teamxray.com the following week to see the outcome and watch the sure-to-be-exciting video!

Over only 100m, I think it's Xray for the win! But only just... Put your granny behind the wheel of the ferrari, just in case.

EDIT: AND TAKE THAT WING OFF!!! Or at least make it a LOT smaller.

This is a very good marketing stunt. Should be very effective in getting people's attention - especially when the NT1 wins.

For 100 meters it is simple, the RC car will win because that one will reach for sure 100+km/h

Soon I hope this little baby of me to run against his bigger brother:

Of course win xray. Ferari have about 3.5-4.0sek to 100km/h and xray abut 2.5-3.0 sek.

Any given Xray 1/10, from the T1 to the 007, will win the game in such a short distance...

Tooooooooo easy....

OK, I'll bite, what engine, what gearing?

And what was that at the start of the 150m run? He would have had the Ferrari again if he'd just held it straight, I call for a rematch!

Great run Martin. You should have made a bet before the showdown. The winner should have taken both cars home :D
